Lycoming College is hiring a Student Success Fellow to join our Academic Services team Lycoming College, one of the nation’s oldest residential liberal arts and sciences colleges, invites candidates for its
Student Success Fellow role. The Student Success Fellow will advance initiatives related to student retention, transition, student engagement, and academic success. This role involves collaborating with both the Student Success and Student Life departments to support programs, provide student support, and foster a vibrant campus community. Drawing on a strong background in student engagement, academic support resources, leadership development, and community-building, the Student Success Fellow will assist in managing initiatives that foster inclusive and supportive learning outcomes in a residential campus environment.
This position will offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated student affairs professional to gain experience in student success strategies, data-informed decision-making, and collaborative program development.
This position is a full-time 11-month benefits eligible position that is designed to be a one-year position with the ability for re-evaluation at the end of that year term.

What will I do in this role?- Support the planning and execution of orientation activities and transition initiatives for incoming students, including international, transfer and commuter students.
- Collaborate with campus partners to ensure smooth student transitions and engagement.
- Assist with the support of initiatives such as the Lycoming Summer Academy, Partnership, and other student success initiatives.
- Support collaborative programming efforts with Admissions, Student Life, Athletics, and community partners.
- Support outreach efforts to promote resources related to student engagement, academic advising, mentorship, health/counseling services, and holistic student support.
- Support student participation in engagement activities, the academic recovery program, campus events, and leadership programs.
- Collaborate with campus departments, student organizations, and community partners to plan and execute engagement and academic success initiatives.
- Collaborate with student life staff to promote student involvement and campus activities.
- Collect and analyze data related to student engagement and success.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and event coordination.
- Help facilitate communication between students and campus departments through social media, newsletters, and other outreach efforts.
What are we looking for? Required Experience and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred qualifications: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in student affairs, higher education, or related fields.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in student engagement, leadership development, or related areas preferred.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for fostering an inclusive campus environment and supporting student success.
